2. Products, Orders, and E-Commerce

  • Product Descriptions & Availability: We make every effort to display the colors, features, and specifications of our products—including books, journals, and apparel—as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, imagery, or prices are entirely error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders resulting from inadvertent pricing mistakes.

  • Order Acceptance & Refusal: Receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not signify our final acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or limit quantity on any order for any reason.

  • Autographed Copies: Requests for personalized book signatures are fulfilled subject to author availability and order volume.

  • Payments: Payments are securely processed through third-party payment gateways (including Square and Stripe). By submitting payment information, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the designated amount for your purchases.

3. Shipping, Returns & Refunds

  • Shipping: Orders are shipped via standard commercial carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) to the address provided at checkout. Shipping rates and estimated delivery timelines are calculated at checkout. We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by postal carriers or incorrect shipping addresses provided by the buyer.

  • Returns & Damaged Goods: If your physical items arrive damaged or defective, please contact us within seven (7) days of receipt at info@delainesmithclark.com with your order number and photos of the damage to arrange for a replacement.

  • Digital Purchases: Downloads of digital sample chapters, lead magnets, or electronic materials are final and non-refundable once delivered.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Site Content: All content on this Site—including written copy, logos, graphics, images, book cover designs, 3D mockups, audio visual clips, digital downloads, and merchandise designs—is the exclusive intellectual property of Dr. Delaine Smith-Clark or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

  • Formal event bookings, keynotes, workshops, and book signing appearances require a separate, signed event contract detailing honorarium, travel accommodations, schedule, and cancellation terms.
